Interact-TV Adds Dual-Layer DVD Burning Capabilities to its 1.2TB TeraTelly GS1250

Everyone make way! Interact-TV is taking strides on getting their buzzworthy TeraTelly GS1250 into every networked home. The company has announced that they will start shipping their 1.2TB flagship media server with a Dual-Layer, multi-format DVD/CD burner (previously only DVD-ROM). I know it probably doesn’t sound like much. But think about it… this is one of the few dedicated media servers on the market that you can use to easily transfer data to a physical disk to free up space, or to burn uncompressed DVD movies to share with friends. Gone are the days of trying to transfer massive media files to a PC over a slow wired, or worse yet, a wireless connection to make backups. Just select and burn, baby!
“Allowing consumers to archive recorded programs lets them save their favorite programs and expand their digital media library easily and cost effectively. Now they can record, archive, and restore as many programs as they want or need.” says Ken Fuhrman, CEO of Interact-TV. “DVD archive makes worries about capacity a thing of the past.”
A standard TeraTelly GS1250 includes:
- 1.2 Terabytes of Storage (3 x 400GB HDD)
- 512MB of Memory
- DVD-ROM Optical Drive or Sony DVD±R/DVD±RW/CD Burner (confirmed by Ken Fuhrman)
- IR Trackball Remote
- Wireless Keyboard
- Composite Video/Audio Cables
- 1 Year Limited Warranty
- 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
