Turn Your Sony PSP into an iTunes or Windows Media Player Remote Control

harmony media master miniHarmony Solutions, llc. has just added the newest member to the Media Maestro family: Media Maestro Mini is now available for download for free as part of the Media Maestro LSX remote control software solution. This new feature in Maestro lets users turn their favorite portable game player (The Sony PSP) into a wireless remote control for either Apple iTunes or Windows Media Player. Adding to the family friendly line of Maestro products, the Maestro Mini enables users to browse their libraries while viewing album art, adjust stereo controls, view song lyrics, and experience a realm of other features all in the palm of their hand.

“We wanted to make Media Maestro a software remote control, that you can install once on your PC, and then control your media from just about any other device,” said Maestro creator David Hanford. “Media Maestro LSX allowed users to control their media from laptops, tablets, desktops, UMPCs and more. Now we want to spread that control to devices smaller in both resources and screen size. Instead of walking back to your PC, or turning on a TV to control your music, we want you to be able to use the device that is already in your hand while lounging on the sofa or back porch.”

The release of Media Maestro Mini for the Sony Playstation Portable is just the beginning of handheld devices that will support Maestro. In fact, we’re told that Mini will already run on just about any device that supports Flash 6, such as some Nokia Web tablets. Future plans for Media Maestro Mini will add support for Windows Mobile 5 devices and the popular Apple iPhone.
