Home Director, Inc., a provider of reliable infrastructure and control products for the Connected Home market, today announced that it has reached an agreement in principle to acquire Dedicated Devices, Inc., a leading manufacturer of reliable Whole Home Media Systems.
“For a number of years, leading builders have offered Whole Home Music systems that enable homeowners the luxury of listening to music in multiple rooms of their homes,” said Michael Liddle, CEO of Home Director. “Today, homeowners want more. They want the luxury of seeing slide shows, home and archived videos, and listening to personalized play lists of music or internet radio delivered to any room in their home. They want to download videos from web sites and watch them on their televisions. And they want all this in a system that is simple and reliable.
