Well, Mike Baggaley at Den Guru gives us his answer in his latest article.

Considering WMV-HD and DivX-HD, Mike provides some screen shots that should help you make an informed decision. The verdict, as you may expect, is not completely conclusive. There are many factors to consider. What is the final quality like compared to the source material? What is the final file size in the compressed format? How long did it take to compress the file? These questions are answered, and the answers may surprise you. Head over to Den Guru for all the juicy details and some revealing screenshots.
