NBC, Sci-Fi Channel Now Offering Content on iTunes
In what appears to be a very recent development, the iTunes store is now offering much more TV content, including shows from NBC and The Sci-Fi Channel. The critically acclaimed “Battlestar Galactica” from Sci-Fi is now available along with current NBC shows “Surface,” “The Office,” and “Law & Order” amongst many others. This might explain why NBC Universal recently flipped-out when TiVo announced support for transferring TV shows to iPods and PSPs.
Additionally, it appears that NBC is offering “Vintage” content that includes classics like “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, “Dragnet” and “Knight Rider” (if David Hasselhoff fits nicely in your vintage definition, that is). Also, highlight content from NBCs late night shows are also available for download. You can get Triump the Insult Comic Dog making fun of Star Wars fans through the “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” downloads. Vintage, indeed.
