Hubbell Automation Mac mini Wall Mount
Using a Mac mini to manage your home automation and entertainment? You might want to take a look at hubbell’s slick Mac mini acrylic wall mount with optional backlight (via Automated Home). Hubbell says, “As a home automation design and consulting company, we were faced with the challenge of placing our control system (a Mac mini) in just about any location that the customer wanted. The problem was that there was often no suitable place on a table surface and the Mac mini isn’t very stable when placed on its side. So, we came up with the design of the Mini mount. Like the Mac mini, it’s a simple, elegant, yet extremely functional design that serves its primary purpose, to put the Mac mini on the wall and out of the way.” Prices start at $49.99 for the standard unit and $69.99 with the backlight kit.

So all the wires are at the top and the CD slot is on the bottom…. mmmm. Am I the only one to think this is the wrong way around? If they would have moved the bottom brackets to the round edges you could have used it either way around, I’m amazed they didn’t think of that.
And $50 for a piece of acrylic is daylight robbery.

You can always reposition the Mac mini with the drive up, but I’m not sure if the bottom brackets will get in the way of some of your cords
I have a feeling the solution looks good in the pic, but once you actually have all your cables inserted, it probably wouldn’t look very attractive on the wall.
