Looks like Intelliremote got a bit more intelligent. The developer of Intelliphone has, as you can see in the screenshots, added virtual keyboard and mouse functionality to his app that I’m sure many people will appreciate. Yup, you read right. Melloware has created an iPhone client for their PC Intelliremote Server application that allows users to control just about any PC application (i.e. Windows Media Center, XBMC, SageTV, etc.) without line-of-sight. Of course, this is accomplished by iPhone and iPod Touch’s ability to network with a PC via TCP/IP socket communication over Wi-Fi. To get things going, users must download/install a copy of Intelliremote for their PC ($24), pick up the Intelliremote iPhone client from Apple’s App Store (FREE), and then point the client to the correct IP address and port configured by the server software.
