Android 3.0 Honeycomb Tablet UI Outed on Video

Oh, boy! I can see someone at Google getting the pink slip for this (or at the very least a severe scolding). Android’s new tablet UI preview — intended for only developers to see — has hit the ‘net due to it initially being uploaded to YouTube as Public (now set to Private). It’s only 1:32 long, but it provides enough eye-candy to get an idea what the experience will be like. So, what do you think? Me: It reminds me more of the Playbook than the iPad. Also… interesting use of 3D spaces and widgets. Definitely feels like a device to get things done on while having fun on the side. No background piano themed music for this guy. [via / via]
