netTALK Debuts the DUO PC-Free VoIP Adapter with USB Connectivity Thrown in for Kicks

Step aside MagicJack, lookout Vonage…. netTALK today is introducing a dual-mode VoIP adapter that can work via an Ethernet connection directly to your home router (no PC required) or through your Internet connected PC via USB. Just attach a traditional cord/cordless phone to its phone jack and you’re golden. The new netTALK DUO retails for $69.95 and includes one year of service free ($29.95/yr there after). My 2-cents: having an adapter with a direct connection to your home router is just waaaay more practical than always having to keep your PC on in order to take calls; however, the inclusion of USB connectivity is a nice perk for a variety of use case scenarios.
netTALK Service Features (includes unlimited nationwide calling, free worldwide calls to other netTALK devices, discount international rates):
- Free U.S. Phone Number
- Call Waiting, 3 Way Calling, and Caller ID
- Voicemail to Email
- 411 Directory Assistance
- Enhanced 911 Service
- Priority Call Forwarding
- Customer Portal
- Technical Support with TALK Experts
- Fax Friendly
