According to Gizmodo’s exclusive hands-on, Slacker in the coming months will make its 3 million song catalog available on-demand to premium users. The new offering integrates into the current interface and will allow users listening to an artist to play the artist’s whole album or a selected track instantly. Slacker is even including a back button in the next release so users can play previously played songs — a feature not typically included in a Internet Radio service. In addition, users can create playlists that can be accessed from any Slacker compatible device like their mobile phone, portable music player, or net-enabled music streamer or home theater device.
