Android TV Set-Top Box?

Lately we’ve seen Android (a mobile device OS) getting ported to portable media players, netbooks, and digital photo frames. Now, Android is being leveraged for use in a prototype TV set-top box by Japanese firm, ISB Corp. Engadget reports that the set-top is powered by Texas Instruments’ OMAP 3530 600Mhz ARM processor, can connect to Bluetooth peripherals like a wireless keyboard, provides a browser for web surfing, and, most importantly, is capable of outputing smooth HD video. No word if this prototype will make its way to the market any time soon, but it’s an interesting proposition. Would you buy an Android powered TV set-top box or digital media adpater?
