Napster today is announcing the availability of a new $5 monthly plan that will give subscribers unlimited browser streaming access to its entire music collection of 7 million songs, 60 “commercial free” radio stations, and 50+ year Billboard chart archive. In addition, subscribers will be entitled to download 5 DRM-free MP3 tracks to keep. Of course, subscribers can purchase more tracks if they desire at the same rate non-subscribers pay, which ranges in price from 69¢ to $1.29 per single track.
