Windows 7 Enables Secure, Remote PC to PC Streaming via WMP and Windows Live ID

I just got finished reading Simon May’s post on setting up Windows Media Player on a Windows 7 to share/stream media (like recorded TV) to another Windows 7 PC and came away impressed by the potential of this new functionality. The process is actually not too difficult to setup, requiring one to tie their PC to an approved online ID provider (in this case Windows Live ID), installing a configuration app from the provider, enable streaming to the PC you want to stream to, and then repeating the process on the second PC to link the two.
