SecondRun.tv Brings Hulu Content to Windows Vista Media Center
Big props goes to Yaggs for taking initiative on creating a killer add-in called SecondRun.tv that brings Hulu content to your TV or PC via Windows Vista Media Center. What’s unique about this add-in is that it pulls available TV programming via RSS, displays the results in an attractive — fairly easy to navigate — manner, and then launches video direct from Hulu’s show page within the add-in in fullscreen mode. Have a look at the video above to see how the process works. SecondRun.tv is currently in Beta and will, according to the developer, remain freeware (with donations accepted) for the foreseeable future. FYI, the network screen Yaggs hints to in the video is now up and running.
Add-in Highlights:
show descriptions, large format TV poster images, high-resolution show background images, episode thumbnails, cursor / remote navigation
