Get Video Podcast Content in MythTV with MythNetTV

Many of you love your MythTV PVR, but one of the features that’s missing (well, not really missing but would be nice to have) is the ability to bring in Internet video content. Enter MythNetTV, a command line application that allows you to subscribe to your favorite video podcasts (RSS/Atom) and pull the latest content into your MythTV recordings menu (see screenshot). MythNetTV also has the ability to transcode video to your preferred format using MPlayer/MEncoder. All in all, it’s a great way to access new content through your familiar interface. [via]
