4 Reactions to “HP MediaSmart TV Demo at HP’s SmartHome”

  1. D Perez says:

Are HP MediaSmart TVs even available anymore? I cannot locate them anywhere, whether at retailers or online. Don’t know why you would demo a product that appears to no longer be available for sale?

  2. Availability is talked about in the video (jump to: 00:07:40). You can pick one up right now at Costco among a few other retailers like Best Buy and Amazon. However, it does sound like HP is going to be putting a lot of their weight behind MediaSmart Connect (the company’s stand-alone digital media adapter) going forward in hopes of mass consumer adoption. Look for a video on the MediaSmart Connect to be up soon.

I also noticed that at the bottom of the product page it states: “Available only at select Costco stores. Find a store near you”

  3. Zack Phan says:

Had this product line been dead-ended?

  4. The HP MediaSmart HDTV was shelved just a couple months back in October. The product page is no longer up and the HP MediaSmart Technology section no longer lists it.
