HP MediaSmart Connect Demo at HP’s SmartHome

Here’s a close-up look at the HP MediaSmart Connect digital media adapter that will be coming to market sometime this month. Brian Burch, director of marketing for HP’s connected entertainment division, details some of the specs and functionalities of the device. Be sure to also checkout the MediaSmart TV demo video where Brian expands a bit further on MediaSmart’s auto-updates and add-on services.

Insider Info: Brian tells me that HP will most likely be partnering up with a few retailers to offer potential buyers trade-in discounts. Basically, HP will give you the fair market value of your old digital media adapter as a credit towards the purchase of a new MediaSmart Connect.
