TiVoRemote for iPhone/iPod Touch Adds Now Playing Data and Networked TiVo Detection

Looks like TiVoRemote, the software based TiVo remote app for iPhone/iPod Touch (hosted at Google Code) has been getting a lot of developer love lately. The guys have given TiVoRemote a “Now Playing” data screen that lists recorded shows available for viewing and a new TiVo detection function that listens for other connected set-tops available on your home network. The only bummer is that the developers haven’t figured out how to network detect TiVoHD or Series3 TiVos at the present time. In any case, it’s still a must-have if you own both devices. [via]
