Watch Online Video Streams in Windows Media Center with MyTV Add-In
I was just browsing through The Green Button forums and found a posting on a new Windows Media Center Add-In called MyTV that, supposedly, allows users to add online video stream channels (examples: MTV Overdrive, Showtime Interactive, Comedy Central MotherLoad, VH1 VSPOT) to a custom programming guide with playback capabilities. The confusing part is that it seems like you need to configure the channels through the developer’s website after you register and then download/install the MCL file to your PC to access the content and your account settings. Also, it appears, that once your account is created you can create custom channel categories and even add RSS feeds from your favorite video podcasts. If MyTV works as advertised, it’s seems like a worthwhile download.
