mcShoutCast Add-In for Windows Vista Media Center

I am huge fan of the ShoutCast Internet radio directory (I tap in daily). Being the case, I am floored by the slick and accessible interface the German developer behind mcShoutCast has created. Gone are the boring browser lists we are all accustom to navigating. The MCML driven interface provides users with a bevy of features we all expect (and some neat advanced ones like stream recording and station logo presets), but in a more visually compelling living room friendly 10-foot experience.
Features:
- Browse through genres (more than 300)
- Get the listing of the Top500 stations
- Access random stations
- Search for music by title, genre, station name
- Save stations and genres as favorites
- Assign a picture (logo to stations and genres)
advanced features include:
- Song info display (which the media player doesn’t)
- Station stream recording ( mp3 and also acc, Id3V2 tag are written to the file)
- Some stations streams there content in accp format, so when you intall the accp codec from orban you can also listen to and record those streams too.
