Sneak Peek: Hauppauge WinTV HD PVR Photos

Hauppauge WinTV HD PVR - FRONT

Brent Evans snagged the following pics from a post on the SageTV Forums and confirmed with a company representative that the photos are legit. The device is said to be going on sale at the end of May. From what’s shown, the backside of the Hauppauge WinTV HD PVR includes two sets of component video connections, two optical SPDIF connections, and a USB cable connector. Brent says an IR emitter may also be included for controlling connected cable/satellite boxes. From earlier reports, the device is said to be capable of handling full 1080p video and is able to encode video streams to H.264 on-the-fly (rumored price: around $250).

UPDATE: The product page (with specs) is now up!
