Nokia N810 HAVA Player Demo’d
In the attached video Internet Tablet Talk showcases a Beta version of the soon to be released HAVA Player for Nokia’s N810 Internet Tablet. To say the least, the player is quite impressive (though it has some small kinks to work out) and allows users to tap into their TV’s cable/satellite box or DVR for remote access. Of course, in order to get this all to work, you’ll need a HAVA adapter and high-speed connection for both your home and Internet Tablet.
Impressions from the guys at Internet Tablet Talk:
From our initial tests, the Internet Tablet version of the HAVA Player even outperformed the PC version, with regards to video and sound quality. There were some minor sync problems that happen occasionally, especially when you keep switching from fullscreen to the remote control screen, but I never encountered the slow down nor the sound tone change that happens on the PC HAVA Player. The app is still on beta and should be released sometime the third quarter of this year.
