Have Media Center Health Monitor Push Status Updates via Twitter

Media Center Health Monitor Twitter ScreenshotIan Dixon, who’s been hard at work on improving Media Center Health Monitor, has added a new feature to push PC status updates to owners directly via Twitter. Ian suggests creating a separate account just for the Monitor so you can “follow” what’s happening on your PC(s) without spamming all your friends with updates that they most likely will not have any interest in. Think of it as a nanny cam of sorts for your Windows Media Center PC where you’ll receive real-time updates on the status of television program recordings, any errors encountered while trying to record, disk space issues, and overall health of your system. Bonus: Twitter these days is also capable of sending SMS text messages to members on accounts they’re tracking.
