Easy to set-up and use, the Altos easyStore provides up to 3 TB of storage capacity using 4 high capacity Hard Drives. Through a simple to use web interface the storage capacity can be configured in a RAID configuration, providing security that valuable data will not be lost for either the SOHO or consumer.

Acer Altos easyStore can be used in a mixed OS – Windows, Mac and Linux – environment and is ideal for the professional sole trader markets which are data intensive and value of data is high – e.g. Industrial design or architecture.

• Easy to Setup and Manage

Setup and manage Altos easyStore using intuitive Web based graphic user interface in a few simple steps.

• Networked Storage

Altos easyStore provides easy file sharing among the network and up to 2 TB of shared storage to meet the increasing demand of storage capacity and file sharing. It manages shared folders by users names or groups, providing additional management security.

• Auto Backup

Shipped with a client backup and recovery software, Altos easyStore provides entire system backup and recovery for clients running Windows OS. Your system and data can be protected and recovered against disk failure, file corruption, accidental file deletion or virus attacks.

• System Recovery

In the event of disk or disk partition failure, the provided PXE boot ensures fast system restore and minimize system downtime. The clients can be remotely rebooted via PXE protocol from a backup on the storage system and then recover the system disk. Alternately, if the client’s computer does not support the PXE boot not supported, clients can be rebooted from the recovery CD and restore the system disk form the backup on the storage system.
