According to Jerold Billings at The Green Button, the long awaited feature of streaming DVDs via Windows Media Center has been confirmed as “in-development” at Microsoft (via Chris Lanier). Up until this confirmation, playing back DVDs on extenders was not possible with the exception of extremely high-end installations – far out of the reach of the average consumer.
