Apple Soon to Roll Out iTunes Video Rentals Service?

What do we have here? According to Evan DiBiase (via Addicted to Digital Media), iTunes version 7.5 is now showing rental and VOD data strings hidden away in the application. Could this mean iTunes users will have one-click instant movie streaming on their Mac/PC or Apple TV by year end? Here’s the list of the new strings discovered by Evan:

  • getvodaccountselectionlist
  • GET VOD ACCOUNT SELECTION LIST
