Floola iPod Manager

Nice. I was just browsing through some of the videos on CNET when I came across a free, donation-ware application called Floola that allows users to manage their Apple iPods on Windows, Mac, and Linux. But what makes this product unique, is that it not only handles iTunes features like capturing album artwork, podcast subscriptions, and playlists, it is also capable of transcoding video (from your PC or from the Web) to iPod compatible formats via FFMPEG.

Note: The new 6th generation iPods — i.e. iPod Touch & iPhone — will not work with anything other than iTunes due to Apple placing an encrypted hash key on the devices which only iTunes 7.4 and above can read to update music content. More details here , here, and here.
