Time Warner Testing “Look Back” Feature for Cable Set-Tops

time warner look back screenshotOK, so here’s the deal. Time Warner’s new “Look Back” feature will allow digital television subscribers to view any show after it has aired up until midnight. The catch: fast-forwarding has been disabled and you can’t save the shows for later viewing. But, seriously, that’s a small price to pay for a free value-add service you didn’t have before. What’s more, Look Back takes out the complexity of programming a DVR and the added costs associated with renting such a device. Look Back will be offered this October in South Carolina and then gradually rolled out around the country, so states the NY Times (TV Squad).
