TV Squad reports from DigitalLife’s press preview event that the GejBox is really a reference design for their DivX Connected platform which will eventually make its way into partner cable boxes, DVD players, and other set-tops. DivX Connected offers users a sexy TV interface to stream media content from networked PCs, as well as, online providers like DivX Stage6 and Google Video. Think of it like an Apple TV, but with an open development platform where anyone can join the party (hope Flickr jumps on board).
