Amazon Unbox Video Downloads Can Now Be Purchased Direct via Your TiVo Set-Top

ZNF reports TiVo has added a new menu option for downloading premium video content in its “Download TV & Movies” TiVoCast Downloads section. Previously, users had to download Amazon Unbox content directly to their PCs and then stream the content over their home network to a designated TiVo set-top box – a long arduous process, to say the least. Now it looks like TiVo has enabled online access to a user’s Unbox account and direct to set-top downloads (requires a decent broadband connection). Additionally, Unbox on TiVo provides users with lists of most downloaded videos, latest videos, and $0.99 weekend movie download specials. Note: no HD content is available at this time through the service, so content is best viewed on standard definition televisions.
