Right on the heels of the Alienware Hangar18 announcement, ASUS showcased their upcoming AMD LIVE! Home Cinema platform PC at Computex. According to Homemedia (via Multiroom), the DAV A33 sported an Athlon 64 X2 4000+ processor, a 320GB hard drive, DVD burner, 802.11 draft N wifi, Bluetooth, composite/s-video/hdmi video connections (support for 1080p), integrated 200W 5.1 surround sound amplifier, and a bunch more – there even appears to be (not confirmed) an integrated SideShow mini display on the front panel. Look for the DAV A33 to be released later this year with a starting price of $999 and Blu-ray option for about $1,499.
