Apple’s Quicktime Player Gets DivX and Xvid Support

With this component not only will you be able to playback previously unsupported video content but also be able to encode videos in these formats as well using Quicktime. Price: DivX Component – $19.99, Xvid – FREE. Note: There’s also a “swiss-army knife” Quicktime Component called Perian that gives you support for just about every popular video codec out there – definitely worth a look.
