DVDFab Adds HD DVD and Blu-ray Movie Ripping to HD Decrypter

From the developer: “DVDFab Decrypter is a simple version of DVDFab Platinum. It copies entire DVD movie to hard disk, and removes all the protections (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS) while copying.” However, as of version 3.0.9.6 HD Decrypter is now able to rip HD DVD or Blu-ray movies to hard disk in “Full Disc” mode, as well as strip out AACS protections, in less than an hour (via Afterdawn). Price: FREE.

I tried the Dvd Fab DH Beta version 5.0.9.5 to rip Ratatoulle blu-ray movie. The software was trying to load the disc, but it fail to recognize. This software does not work as it advertising. Maybe it will not rip all blu ray movies.

Ditto. Tried it with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Closer, Ratatouille, Cars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Batman Begins and The Shining. None of them were even recognised by the software, and I do not know why HD DVD Decrypter is being advertised as having full Blu Ray support since it evidently does not

Best bet: Use SlySoft’s AnyDVD HD. It’s a pretty popular app for this type of duty.
