Mvix MX-760HD vs. Apple TV

hdtv artJust got an email from a rep. at Mvix who wants to shine some light on his product and put the Mvix MX-760HD side-by-side with the Apple TV for a feature-set showdown. Below is the spec. comparison table (hint: the MX-760HD is the more flexible of the two). However, one glaring difference you’ll notice right off the bat is that Apple TV is backed by the juggernaut service, iTunes, to provide mainstream content in easily digestible bites to the masses. Mvix on the other hand, requires users to rip/transcode their content for use on the device – but then again, so will Apple TV if you don’t want to buy in to the iTunes ecosystem.
