I was browsing Uncrate’s excellent blog on all things cool for men and noticed an entry on a brilliant little mini-ITX HTPC system called the FLeX 4.2. What’s makes this system unique is not just that it’s mini form factor Windows Media Center 2005 PC (Vista compatible), but the fact that owners can configure the system in one of two ways: stacked (like a mini Hi-Fi) or side-by-side (like a traditional A/V component). Of course, its luxurious aesthetic details like a piano black chassis, smoke-grey crystal front panel, and brushed aluminum accents aren’t bad either. But if that weren’t enough to get you excited, the FLeX 4.2 also integrates a 400W Bang & Olufsen amplifier making it one of the most desirable mini form factor PCs date.

Quick Specs:
Intel GMA950 Chipset with Intel Extreme Graphics; 1.66GHz up to 2.33GHz Intel Dual Core CPU; Choice of Hybrid Analogue or 3 High End Digital TV Tuners with Common Interface Slot; 7.1 Channel Audio; 512MB to 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM; 250GB to 750GB SATA II Hard Drive; Dual Layer DVD±R±RW Drive; Extremely quiet: 2 low rotation internal fans and internal fanless PSU; Dimensions: 430mm x 300mm x 95mm or 17in x 11.8in x 3.7in (WxDxH inc. feet)
