If you’ve been looking for a way to get your feet with virtualization or want to plug an application compatibility hole between Windows XP and Vista, check out Microsoft’s latest freeware offering, Virtual PC 2007 (via DailyTech). The application leverages AMD’s Pacifica and Intel’s VT hardware-based virtualiztion technology and supports 32-bit and 64-bit host Windows operating systems (but not 64-bit guests).
