Wireless DUALphone 3088 Skype Phone Released – No PC Required


dualphone 3088VoIP calling just got a whole lot easier. With the DUALphone 3088, all users need to do to start making low-cost VoIP calls to landline phones through SkypeOut, or free calls to other Skype users, is to connect the 3088’s wireless base-station to any broadband router via Ethernet (via PC World). No PC is required. Just pick up the headset and use its graphical interface to configure the phone for the first time. Basically all you need to enter is your Skype username/password to get going. Of course, if you want to add minutes for SkypeOut calls, you’ll need to hit the Net to charge more minutes to your account or to add new services.

The DUALphone will be be available starting Decemeber 1st in Europe and will retail for $206.
