Gefen Set to Launch SD to HD Home Theater Scaler

gefen home theater scaler

Now this is an amazing product (if it works as advertised – via Multiroom). The Gefen Home Theater Scaler is designed to take a standard-definition video source and upconvert it to high-definition resolution for viewing on HDMI equipped HDTVs. What’s more, the device functions as a video switcher between two Component sources and two HDMI sources which can be managed and adjusted via its remote and on-screen menu selections. So, forget about replacing your current DVD player with an upscaling DVD player… just add the Gefen Home Theater Scaler (MSRP $399) to your entertainment rack and attach any SD device you want upscaled.
