Envive Announces Pre-order Details on 8 Tuner, 4.5TB E-Center Pro

Envive, Inc has been hard at work to bring you a Custom Home Media Server for every budget. On September 20, 2006, Envive will begin taking preorders for the E-Center Pro. The entry level E-Center Pro will available for $2499 and will begin shipping in October. The E-Center Pro Home Media Server has been designed from the ground up to act as the center of your home’s media network. Industry leading Features such as Dolby Home Theater Certified Audio, Up to 8 TV tuners, and up to 4.5TB of RAID secured Storage are normally found on Home Media Servers costing 4 or 5 times as much as the E-Center Pro.

The E-Center Pro along with the E-Center will be the first two units which will be offered with EnviveOS* starting in late November. A second rack-mount-only version with hot swappable storage has been planned for December ’06. The E-Center Pro line of PC’s will represent the ultimate in Home Media Servers without breaking the bank.

With EnviveOS, the E-Center Pro combined with Envive’s E-Center or E-Center Micro line of Media Center computers will enable our customers to record, store, access, and share their digital media with in ways never before possible.
