Commodore Presents New Gravel Product Range at IFA 2006

Commodore International Corp. is once again opening up new possibilities for on demand media entertainment by introducing Gravel™, a range of consumer electronic devices developed to give immediate access to a personalized world of entertainment, at home, or on the move. At IFA, Commodore will be presenting the first two devices from this new range of products, as well as the In Public MediaTower with added new features. The products, including The Gravel™ In Pocket multimedia player and the Gravel™ In Home media box, will be showcased at IFA – the international consumer electronics trade fair – from September 1 to September 6 in Berlin (Hall 2.1, stand 102).

In addition to designing and developing new hardware, Commodore has been working extensively over the past year to create a matching digital entertainment environment, called CommodoreWorld™. The website www.commodoreworld.com offers access to a comprehensive catalogue of music, videos, and mobile content. The entire content catalogue may be directly accessed from the Commodore Gravel™ devices through a wireless connection, and on demand, by clicking a single button. Both hardware devices will be in store no later than the second week of November. The CommodoreWorld™ web portal will go live the last week of October.

Commodore In Public MediaTower – Forging digital music, mobile phone ring tones, games, logos and wallpapers in a single store-friendly kiosk, the In Public MediaTower makes it possible for customers to walk up and download
all types of legal digital media to portable devices. Designed to be housed in high traffic public areas, the content is accessible via an easy-to-navigate user interface and transferred to devices via USB, WAP or blue tooth.

Availability
Commodore International Corporation is excited to launch their new premium-range hardware products at this year’s IFA from September 1 to September 6 in Berlin. CommodoreWorld™ will be live in the last week of October. The new Commodore Gravel ™ products will be available from
