Looking for the ultimate streaming media device for your home that will support just about every media format you can throw at it, is able to output 720p/1080i high definition video through HDMI, and offers a UPnP media server application that’s cross-platform compatible with Window/Mac/Linux? If the answer is yes (I know mine is), ZIOVA (formerly Zensonic) has the goods you’re looking for. In fact, the company offers two versions of this amazing product: one with a built-in DVD player (CS505) and one without (CS510).

Side note: DVD ISO support is huge! Basically all you need to do is rip your DVDs to a burnable ISO image and the ZIOVA player will treat it as if it were a physical DVD playing through a disc drive.

As for price… if Zensonic’s Z500 is any indicator, the CS505 with DVD should retail for about $429.

    Ziova’s website states that they have sold the unit in the US, Canada, and Mexico, but I have not found anyone that carries it.

    Does anyone know how to get a hold of it? Also I dropped an email to Ziova’s sales department, but I have not heard back.

    Is this an indication of the type of support I can expect?
