IGN has posted a video walk-through of Sony’s upcoming PS3 user interface that some of you might find interesting (via Engadget). Just so you know… the UI shown is obviously not the final release, but it’s damn near close. One of the biggest drawbacks that I can see so far, in my opinion, is its use of space – or lack there of. The function icons are on the small side and the tree menu system is just butt ugly. However, I do think the sparse UI makes a lot of sense when changing options within the game.
