Pelham Sloane Set to Release 17-Inch Uber-Thin MCE Touchscreen System

Julie Jacobson at CE Pro tipped us off to a very cool Touchscreen MCE system that will soon be released from Pelham Sloane. The system, which CE Pro saw at the recent EHX Expo, is a very thin full featured PC with a 17-inch touchscreen running Windows Media Center Edition. At just 2 3/4-inches thick, this Pelham Sloane beauty stays out of the way. With an included mount, you can stick it just about anywhere.
To boot, the system – even in it’s small form factor – doesn’t sacrifice it’s functionality. It still has 4 USB ports, 2 PCI express slots, a CompactFlash slot and support for 802.11g, Bluetooth and Z-Wave with EV-DO/Edge support also thrown in. You can even get upto 500GB of storage in that slim case. Amazing! No ship date has been specified yet, although it should be shipping soon. Expect to pay between $2200 and $3200.
