Pioneer DVR-DT100 DVR Features 800GB, 2 Tuners and HDMI

If you thought 500GB of space on a DVR was nice, then Pioneer is aiming to impress you. Akihabara News has the scoop on the impressive DVR-DT100 DVR. As you’ve no doubt ascertained, the Pioneer unit sports an impressive 800GB of storage. It also sports 2 TV tuners (1 analog and 1 digital) while also supporting DVD-DL and DVD-RAM.
It also has an HDMI connector for making digital to digital DVR/TV love. The downside? The tuners can’t record content in Hi-Def, which seems like a well exposed Achilles heel. However, the very slick, home theater friendly design should keep wives and girlfriends happy. You can get a model with only 500GB or 250GB of space, but why would you? No word on pricing, although you can expect to pay somewhere between “an arm and a leg” and “your first-born child.”
