Powerdesk – Intergrated PC Work Desk

powerdeskFor those into discreet computing, have a look at Powerdesk, a new hybrid stationary desk that conceals an internal PC that can be configured to your specs (via TechEBlog). The “smart” desk brilliantly manages cables and cooling from the back and provides a slot loading drive in the front next to the power button. The manufactures states the prices start at £1,000, so you might have setup an investment account before making your purchase.

Side note: I was actually thinking about a similar concept the other day, where you could buy Mac mini-like PC and just clamp it (maybe with some custom shaped, clear plastic strips from Tap Plastics) to the underside of a desk and carefully run its attached wires to the back and down leg. Hey, it’s quick, cheap, and efficient so don’t laugh.
