Sneak Peek: OrigenAE S210 Monster HTPC Enclosure

origenae-s210Oh WOW! HTPCnews has got a hot scoop on OrigenAE’s still-in-development monster media server/home theater PC enclosure that should be hitting the streets this summer or fall (hopefully). The OrigenAE S210 features – get ready – an internal composite aluminum heat sink bay that can hold up to 12 hard drives, an integrated 12-inch touchscreen display that folds down to reveal a DVD drive and one 3 1/4 drive bay, brushed aluminum skin, dual (discreetly hidden) IR receivers, and an ultra quiet, but massive, 140mm cooling fan. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to put down some serious cash once one of these become available. I even dig how the backlight “O” in the OrigenAE emblem, located on the front bezel, functions as the power on/off switch.

Note: If you like the OrigenAE S210, checkout the rest of HTPCnews’ CES 2006 coverage, which the Editor, Brad Gilomen, tells us “features almost everything a HTPC fan would want to see.”
