OnHollywood 2006 to Discuss Convergence of Digital Media with Hollywood

OnHollywood will focus on the challenges, opportunities and business models of the digital era, showcasing top innovative private companies that are revolutionizing the way media and entertainment is created, distributed and consumed.

The two and a half day industry insider event borrows from the film market tradition by providing an open environment where 60 top digital entertainment and media entrepreneurs meet with studio, telco, consumer electronics executives, investors and key VCs. The event provides a unique forum for executives to create strategic partnerships, generate deals and meet key industry influencers.

Attendees include industry leaders such as Yahoo!, Disney, Sprint, News Corp., entrepreneurs from convergence pioneers such as MySpace and Skype, digital media focused VCs such as Mobius, Red Point and Draper Fisher, and talent agents from CAA and William Morris.

The format of the Summit will follow key interactive panel discussions, company demos, along with a Fireside Chat and recognition of the OnHollywood 100 companies. The Summit will also be streamed to a global webcast audience of over 25,000.
