Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360 Reviewed

logitech x360 harmonyIf you’ve been looking for a good, all-purpose remote with strong macro abilities, the Logitech Advanced Universal Remote for the Xbox 360 should make your top list. If you own an Xbox 360, then you must have this remote according to the review posted at Krunker. The reviewer was surprised that the relatively normal sized Logitech remote out-featured bigger universal remotes remarking that the Logitech “feels right at home in your hand.” Additionally, the included software provides you with tons of options for automating common tasks for your home theater setup. For instance, by simply pressing “Watch a DVD”, the remote can power on your TV, DVD player and receiver; switch your TV and receiver to the proper input, and take you to the main menu of the DVD in one click.

He also mentioned that the remote is somewhat intelligent, remembering what devices it has turned on. So, when you go to power-off, the remote knows to turn off all devices it had previously turned on. Additionally, the remote remembers the last device you used and makes navigation revolve around that device when going through the menus. Although the screen could have been color, the backlit monochrome screen more than fits the billing. In closing, the reviewer said conclusively that “this will be the only remote control that you’ll ever need.” Well said.
