Turn Your iPod into a Video Recorder with the iSee 360i

ipod recorderAre you the owner of a previous gen iPod who has mad jealousy for the newer, hipper 5G owners? Did you buy into the iPod mini only to feel visually shafted when Jobs announced the video iPod? Well, it looks like your days of anger and resentment may just be coming to an end (but you should probably see a professional while you’re at it). The folks over at ATO are releasing the iSee 360i, which promises to turn your 4G iPod or iPod mini into a video recorder and playback tool (via MacNN).

The iSee 360i takes your 4G iPod, including the U2 model, the iPod mini (with an adapter) and the clickwheel model and turns it into a video recording/playback machine. The iSee will record your analog content at standard TV resolution (640×480) and play that video back on any external TV or monitor (with analog inputs) or on the built-in 3.6-inch LCD screen. The rechargeable and replacable 2200mAh battery gives you up to 4 hours of playback, allowing you to best even the current video iPods in video playback time. Ha! Take that Mr. Jobs! The small form factor only adds 6 ounces of heft, so you don’t need to add extra curls to your daily workout to tote this thing around. Pricing and availability aren’t yet available.
