Now here’s a must-have utility for all iPod users called iTunes Library Updater (iTLU) for Windows (via LifeHacker). According to the developer, iTunes does not provide a function to update / synchronize your music collection with its own database, especially if you have music files stored in various folders that haven’t been accounted for in iTunes. Enter iTLU, the cure to all your woes. Just install the application, point it to the directories you want it to regularly scan, and presto, pain free syncing between the iTunes music database and the iPod.
